Pedal car - Six drivers working in shifts together with a back-up team left Marble Arch, London United Kingdom on 27 May 1989 and pedalled their way to Dover; boarded a ferry and docked at Calais. They continued their journey until they arrived at L'Arc de Triomphe in France, having covered a distance of 249 miles in a time of 23 hr 21 min 27 sec.
